Dancehall star Alkaline has fallen out of the Top 10 of the Billboard Reggae Albums chart after his Top Prize album debuted on the chart one week ago.

Top Prize, the Champion Boy singer’s sophomore album, tumbled from No. 2 to No. 12 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, which considers streaming and sales in the United States.

In its second week of release, Top Prize, sold just 62 in pure album sales and 867 units in total consumption from sales and streams in the US, according to data provided to DancehallMag from sales tracker MRC Data (formerly Nielsen SoundScan).

We previously reported that the album had sold 1,527 copies and 2,957 units in total consumption from sales and streams in the first week after its independent release on May 14.

Top Prize‘s significant drop in sales and streams after the first week mirrors that of recent Dancehall albums from Popcaan, Buju Banton, and Vybz Kartel.

Bob Marley And The Wailers’ Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley And The Wailers continues its reign at No. 1 on Billboard Reggae Albums chart for the 73rd consecutive week with 3,685 in pure album sales and 13,455 total units in consumption.

Replacing Alkaline’s Top Prize at the second spot is Shaggy‘s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection with 37 copies sold and 2,989 in total consumption with streams, according to MRC Data.

Sean Paul‘s Dutty Classics Collection also jumped ahead from No. 6 to No. 3 this week.

American Reggae band Stick Figure continues to hold the No. 4 and 5 spots with their World on Fire and Set In Stone albums, respectively, while UB40’s Greatest Hits holds the No. 6 spot this week.

Bob Marley’s Gold and Exodus albums have re-entered the Top 10 on the Reggae chart at No. 7 and 8, respectively.

Time Bomb by Iration and Courage To Grow by Rebelution are positioned at No. 9 and No. 10.
