It’s a Dancehall super-hero team-up from two meteoric stars, Gwallaz Boss 10Tik, and the Bush Lawd Yaksta who have combined their breakout talents for a new track, Freedom.

“The song is about the present situation the whole world a face, in one common-ness, the oppression by the system, so the song is called Freedom, and the freedom is in relation to dreams, and in order to carry out any of dem dreams, you need freedom and freedom spread farther than being locked up in prison because we can be locked up in our communities, children cannot go to school, this is our perspective on ambition, how we can fight the system and still do what we want to do,” 10Tik told DancehallMag.

The song is produced by Swardawg Records, Bigga One Music and Khaos Music, the latter of whom produced his runaway hit, Roll Deep, alongside Collins Close Records.

The single will be distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution.

“The video will be released soon,” 10Tik added.

In the meantime, an animated video which dropped alongside the blazing track has generated 93,000 views in only a few hours, achieving 11 on the YouTube Trending list.

Word on the street is that the official visuals will include exciting college basketball prospect Kofi Cockburn who grew up in the community of Common, off Red Hills Road. Cockburn, a starting player for the Illinois Fighting Illini of the Big Ten Conference in the USA,  moved to Queens, New York, to be with his mother.

“It was great to see his development, the man grow extra tall, I used to encourage him as a youngster to pursue his dreams so to see his development and growth, that is an inspiration for every ghetto youth,” 10 Tik said.
