Cardi B Had A ‘My Dream’ Moment With Nesbeth’s Hit Song
World-renowned American rapper and songwriter Belcalis Almanzar, best known by her stage name Cardi B, was seen vibing to Reggae artist Nesbeth’s number one hit single, My Dream, on her Instagram story over the weekend.
In an Instagram post today, Nesbeth responded by sharing the Bodak Yellow rapper’s video, and wrote “World renowned @iamcardib is having a My Dream moment. Thanks for vibing to my hit song. Let me know when you’re ready for the remix. Let’s do this Cardi 🎼🎵🎶🎶”
The single My Dream was a huge hit for Nesbeth, topping ethnic reggae charts worldwide in 2015. The song also appeared on the singer’s A.M.E.N album.

Fans cheered the development, posting numerous fire emojis.
Social media user rivermanreggae posted: “Up movement… Positive energy lives”, while Chrislinks commented: “good music will always connect with several fire emojis still one of the biggest songs outta Jamaica”.
The song appears to have a permanent place on the rapper’s playlist. During a rehearsal in 2019, she had shared a video as the conscious single played in a dance studio.
In the past, Cardi B’s playlist has also included Spice, Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Vanessa Bling, and others.
In February, the rapper and her husband Offset were seen rocking to some dancehall music during their vacay time, including Alkaline’s hit track Move Mountains with the WAP artist mouthing most of the words to the song.
At the time, Mavado also uploaded a video of the raptress dancing to his hit 2010 hit Come Into My Room which featured the talent of fellow dancehall act Stacious.
