Popcaan Introduces Unruly Protégé Frahcess One On Fresh Banger “Cream”: Watch

Dancehall artist Popcaan is back to get the Cream in his latest music video, officially introducing his Unruly protégé Frahcess One.

Directed by Ruption, the video released yesterday shows the two living it up in lavish scenes: private island, pretty ladies, plenty of cash – the works. Poppy, who announced his cannabis tea just last week, proves he can multitask in more ways than one.

More than a slinky girls anthem, the track which will likely elevate Frahcess One’s status also talks ambition: “nuh give a f— about di haters when we stackin’ di cream”.

“Cream, cream (Yeah), Mi nah mean ice-cream (Yeah),” the pair sings on the chorus in likely tribute to the Wu-Tang Clan’s C.R.E.A.M. (an acronym for “Cash Rules Everything Around Me”), which is widely regarded as one of the most influential Hip-Hop songs of all time.

Popcaan isn’t slowing down in his bid to remain Relevant, making moves to achieve what he charged sprint king turned producer Usain Bolt with weeks ago – “help up some youth wid real musical talent”.

Frahcess One matched his mentor’s lyrical swagger throughout, rocking the same unruly plaits Popcaan retired only last year. His career has been buzzing since being the only Unruly member to appear on Popcaan’s 19-track FIXTAPE on the song Any One A Dem. The up and coming deejay has so far scored a handful of singles including Antisocial, Monstrosity on the Unruly Camp’s True Story Riddim, and the just-released Diabolical, adding to the growing hype around Cream, which is currently at #11 on Jamaica’s YouTube trending.

The track, released on December 4, is produced by Jamie Roberts of Young Vibez Production.  Watch the new video above.
