Macka Diamond’s 14 Days Of Prayer & Fasting Dismissed As Mockery By Some Fans
Macka Diamond’s decision to engage in two weeks of prayer and fasting to fix what she says is the crisis amongst the females in Dancehall music, is not going down well with some ‘followers of Christ’ who are tracking her on Instagram.
Shortly before Christmas day the ‘Money Goddess’ had stated that she would be doing 14 days of fasting and praying with her fellow female Dancehall artistes, and had subsequently staged live prayer sessions on Instagram, some lasting close to two hours.

Her announcement was met with glee by her ardent fans who praised her for going on a spiritual path.
However, the criticisms rained on Saturday after Macka posted a video of herself praying at the side of a roadway, whilst facing some bushes. Several seconds after she began praying, she started deejaying a song calling for her detractors to “go dung”.

Some of the followers were not impressed with Macka’s actions, arguing that she was being pretentious, and by doing so, was mocking God.
“Kmt it’s better you stop your prayers are not sincere and from the heart you don’t have go to God in acting,” rackaboo said.
Others said Macka’s prayer was akin to ‘throwing shade’ at others and was not worthy of being answered by God.

One woman, mrssallen, said that Macka was praying an evil prayer against people she did not like.
“A bush yu gone to do wicked prayer,” she said.
Many said that if the Money O artiste was being sincere, she would have prayed discretely instead of doing it in on camera and posting it for the world to see.

Since then the Cucumber artiste has made two other posts, one claiming that she was finally free and the other stating that after almost 14 days of fasting, god was answering her prayers.

Macka’s new Christian-centered posts and pledges of fasting and praying comes amid accusations made by fellow deejay Spice’s former spiritual adviser RT Boss of witchcraft being practiced within the dancehall space. According to RT, Macka was among the female artistes whose careers were being stifled by those who were practicing obeah.

Macka had previously also received criticisms from followers following a prayer session with upcoming deejay Tallup just over a week ago. According to the commenters, both women were calling on God’s name while declining to serve him in song, opting instead, to write and sing lewd songs, contrary to godly principles.

One critic, annecole261, was harsh in her statements, noting that Macka and her colleagues ought to be ashamed of themselves, as they were only carrying on a farce to promote themselves.

A Christian woman, ashiraaudhild, had an extensive rebuke for the Holy Childhood High School old girl, whom she said should “Get off the devil’s playground before it is too late”.
