Safaree & Erica Mena Plus Other Celebs Take On Desha Ravers’ ‘Gweh Dance Challenge’: Watch
It seems everybody is trying to conquer Desha Ravers’ GWEH Dance Challenge these days. The latest contenders and actually pretty good ones were Jamaican/American rapper, Safaree, and his TV personality wife Erica Mena.
The two were in Mexico over the weekend celebrating Mena’s 33rd birthday with a few friends, simply enjoying the beach, sand, and sun and of course a little dancing.
“CLASH DONE‼️ Jamaica nuh Good again‼️ @dingdongravers tell DI REST fi hang it up! VIRAL‼️‼️ STRAIIITTTTTTTT GWEHHHHHHH @desharavers you know yuh ah family ‼️‼️‼️,” read Safaree’s caption on his Instagram page yesterday as he and wifey “fan dem like ah fly” to Ding Dong’s, September release, Gweh.
In complete unison, the couple nailed Desha’s GWEH Dance Challenge from the fanning hand movement to their swaggering faces and as expected some additional embellished moves – just clearly having the most fun ever.

Safaree and Mena’s take on the dance challenge came after Ding Dong directly dared them to do it.
The deejay uploaded a clip over a week ago, calling them out, along with Stefflon Don and her family, Majah Hype with his alter egos Mitzy and Di Rass as well as comedian World Dawg, telling them “Di people dem want see uno.”

So far, only World Dawg has stepped up to the challenge, he posted his very animated version of the dance a few days after.

The competition has caught the attention of many other celebs, prompting them to get in on the action (not necessarily the cash prize of course). All can certainly agree, “this have a buzz” for sure as Dong says in the track.
Though it may look simple to execute, it is evidently not, as can be seen with the likes of Shaggy and Spragga Benz. Yep, they tried it too.
