The Queen of Dancehall is back in her Kingdom. Spice, who has been sheltering in place in the US for most of this year due to COVID-19, except for a short work trip back home in summer, has finally returned to Jamaica, according to her recent posts on social media.

The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star first hinted at her return to the island on Sunday, when she tweeted: “Den a so it did hard fi fly into Jamaica? I love it tho  Respect Mi country a try hard to keep out #Carona.”

If any doubts were in her fans’ minds about whether she was actually on her way home, they would have been erased yesterday morning when she posted a video of her authentically Jamaican breakfast.

The Queen was having callaloo and saltfish with fried dumplings, plantains and a slice of avocado, and a cup of what appeared to be peanut porridge. “Mhm, me know you a want some but me nuh wa share,” she teased.

Later that day she let her Instagram fans into the loop when she posted an airport pic, clad in her Graci Noir brand, captioned: “Jamaica on my way ✊🏿My Covid test was #Negative 🤪😂”

Her local fans in the comments wasted no time in welcoming her back home and demanding new music ASAP.

“Safe flight inno mumma,” commented her Dancehall colleague Pink Boss, while sound system selector Richie Feelings told her “Csm” (meaning come see me).

She then posted a video from inside the airplane with her daughter, Nicholatoy, commenting on the fact that her daughter also had to get tested to come home.

“How did I recreate these beautiful pair of big eyes 😫😍😍 @toytoyandnicho had to take a Covid test to come back to Jamaica 🇯🇲 my poor baby took it like a real G,” she said.

Though the Inches hitmaker has been mostly hunkered down in Atlanta since March, she has kept herself booked and busy. In between shooting scenes for the Love and Hip Hop Atlanta reality show, she has been making several boss moves overseas.

Since COVID-19 hit, the star has closed in on a new home in Atlanta, inked an endorsement deal with Supreme Ventures, racked up over three million followers on Instagram, performed at sold-out shows in the US, participated in #BlackLivesMatter protests, ramped up promotion on her Faces and Laces hair and cosmetic line, and most recently launch her Graci Noir clothing brand.

The single mom, who was grateful for the extra time she got to spend with her children Nicho and Toytoy, also started her Spice Official World Youtube Channel, which has almost a quarter-million subscribers already.
