TeeJay, the Up Top Boss is evidently running circles around his Dancehall counterparts these days as he releases another new banger, Big Drip. The new single debuted on Sunday October 4, just two days after his tantalizing single Stimulate that dropped on Friday.

Teejay has had a steady stream of new releases each week; his video remake for From Rags To Riches unveiled last week, following Go Dung, Climb On It, Henny & Big Spliff, Who You and Mood with Ishawna, all releasing a few days apart.

Big Drip is an interesting compilation, which fuses soft piano acoustics, backing a sweet caroled chorus that verses, “Lift up my life, so much sacrifice and I hear a voice keep saying, ‘angels cover me… angels cover me’.” Teejay meets the serene melody with a slick lyrical flow to bragger his Big Drip on a dicey beat-throbbing riddim.

He’s blessed and protected by angels as he “drips” in his iced out jewels, Versace fibers, the finest cologne and spends his billions, according to the lyrics. The music video, directed by RD Studios, highlights all the aspects in the message of the song. The scenes display a sexy ‘angel’ in white-feathered wings, lacy lingerie and a pearl beaded facemask as she delivers the chorus, while the Up Top Boss dons his designer gear, flaunts his cash and Big Drip in entirety.

Teejay fans are all for the show, the single is streaming well on YouTube with over 120k views so far, along with 14k Likes and 1.6k applauding comments. One fan, SkyLife seems to think the Gangster Prayer deejay is destined for bigger things, he said “You have so much more in you, I see it clear… Grammy,” and Omaria sees all the work he has been putting in these last few months, she said, “This man been hard on his grind during quarantine. I love the vibe and the songs he been putting out.”
