The Shenyeng queen Shenseea seems to be on the mend following a car accident last Friday, August 7, in which she suffered minor injuries.

According to reports, the accident happened in the Corporate area and photos soon appeared on social media of the Dancehall singer’s 2019 BMW X6 with both of the airbags deployed on the driver and passenger side of the SUV.

The photos alarmed concerned fans, who were later reassured by her manager, Romeich Major, as he confirmed the accident and said that “she is a dragon so she will keep pushing forward and be ok.”

In an Instagram Live video today, the Blessed singer looks to be in good spirits, though she admitted that she was still getting pain in her back and chest. She also shared that her right hand was hurt in the accident but was grateful that she suffered no injuries to her face.

“The body still nuh hundred but I’ll be okay though. That’s for sure cuz mi can feel myself ah come on. Yesterday was bad though, see all fever tek mi and a bagga bagga sumn,” the singer said in her video.

The 23-year-old then explained how the car crash happened as she tried to park the SUV.

“I was in the parking lot, and you know we ah do reverse parking…. so me ah drive and me go fe do reverse parking so when meh swing out is like a water bottle drop….. a full one went under my brake and jam between under meh brake and meh gas,” she said.

shenseea-1Shenseea explained that she inadvertently hit the gas pedal in her attempts to slow down after she realized that the brakes were not functioning because of the bottle.  Before she knew it, she had already crashed into a wall.

She also said she was relieved that on Friday, she decided not to park close to any other vehicles.

Shenseea then laughed at herself, remarking that she “went straight up into a wall,” before saying that the injuries she sustained were caused by the seat belt restraining her and the airbags being deployed after she ran into the wall.

“One thing me know about myself is me can drive, no crash. Me never yet crash,” she added.

Shenseea continued on to say that she was extremely grateful that it was only the wall damaged even though she said the car took a good bit of damage.

“Imagine if me deh pon the road? Ah the wall stop meh because me could have gone further. The wall, and even then ah me seat belt because if me never had me seatbelt, me feel like me woulda fly through the windscreen,” she added.

She then revealed that she intended to get to the beach soon “to wash off some of the salt” that has been messing with her life since the sudden death of her mother in June.

“Prayer me believe in one hundred percent,” she added.

From her tone in the video, it seems she’s shaken up, but it probably won’t be long before Shenseea is back in the thick of things.
