The love triangle drama between Jada Pinkett Smith, August Alsina, and Will Smith has certainly not missed Dancehall artistes Masicka and Govana.

Jada, 48, last Friday admitted to being in a relationship with 27-year-old pop singer, August Alsina, after initially denying Alsina’s claim that they were in a 4-year relationship and that he had Will’s permission to do so.

In the July 10 episode of her talk show series, “Red Table Talk,” Jada was joined by Will, and she described the liaison as nothing more than an ‘entanglement.’ For her, the casual relationship with Alsina was an emotional mess that she should have avoided.

The ‘entanglement’ memes that followed that episode have not escaped two of Dancehall’s finest ‘gyallists’ who have poked fun at the situation and non-committal relationships in general.

Masicka in a Twitter post seems open to entanglements, announcing to the ladies that “some girl fi know say a entanglement we ina nothing else” with a laughing emoji.

The ladies especially seemed receptive to Masicka’s message with one fan saying, “lemme entangle with u.”

Masicka might be making jokes but one thing we’re sure about is that he’s been working hard with several new releases like Winning Streak, Better Days, ChanceHis latest, Just A Minute released four days ago, has racked up half a million views so far and is currently the No. 1 trending video in Jamaica.

Even though he isn’t anywhere near a mid-career artiste, Masicka is consistently one of the top streamed artistes out of Jamaica. Just last month, he was among Audiomack’s top 5 for consecutive weeks with his single Grandfather released 3 months ago with three million views on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Govana reacted to the explosive interview by likening Will Smith to Chris, the fictional character from his hit singles Hamants Convo and Hamants Convo Part 2 which were released earlier this year.

In the songs, Chris is portrayed as what is referred to colloquially as a ‘gal clown,’ a man who unknowingly lets himself be used by women due to his good-naturedness. Govana reshared an emotional teary-eyed snap of Will Smith from the interview with the caption “this again?” in reference to the original poster posting- “Chris again,” along with the image.
