Mek the mullah, tun up the riches

Devin Di Dakta – Running From My Life

The 2015 Magnum King is in a somber reflective mood in the track Running From My Life.

Di Dakta uses his talents to address the racial oppression faced by the black community worldwide.

In the black and white imagery, Devin’s lyrics cut deep as he talks some cold, hard-to-digest facts that plague humanity’s past, present, and will go on to negatively affect our future.

“Dem teach wi fi work, dem nuh teach wi fi build
Dem nuh teach wi fi plant so wi reap and nuh till”

He can also be seen in the background holding different plack cards with more profound messages.

Check out Running From My Life and listen carefully to see just how significant the message of this young Grammy-nominated artiste is.

Blak Ryno – Murderous

This track serves as a warning to anyone who has thoughts of squaring off with this artiste.

Blak Ryno declares that he is Murderous and is ready to defend himself by employing an early offense.

“Wi murderous, wi murderous, wi murderous
Run up pon dem block and murder dem, dem girl a cuss
Wi nuh wait pon bwoy fi draw dem gun, wi murder fuss
A suh wi evil, dawg wi deal wid people f—k up”

The video seems to have been shot overseas and D Stinger can be seen “holding down the block” with his thugs.

This track has the classic Blak Ryno feel to it with the melodic voice and fast-paced lyrical delivery. Give Murderous a listen and see what you think of it.
