Vybz Kartel Declares His Love For His New Girl Lisa Mercedez On Her Birthday

The internal fight in the Gaza camp over who holds the First Lady title seemingly has no effect on Lisa Mercedez, as Vybz Kartel has openly displayed his affection for his new girl.

Kartel posted a string of comments and posts on his favourite social media platform Instagram expressing his love for Mercedez on her birthday.

Just last week internal tensions reached a boiling point after Lisa Hyper released an expletive-laden video sharing her thoughts on who should be considered as the First Lady. Recently another one of the women involved, Jodi Couture said she really didn’t care for the title.  The mother of three of Kartel’s children, Tanesha said that she was his First Lady with access to the bank account to prove it.

Mercedez has never actually met Kartel physically since the deejay is incarcerated and has been since 2014.  Many fans found fault in that and questioned the legitimacy of their relationship, but she claimed that the spiritual connection they share is ‘just crazy.’

“It’s not a delusional thing,” the UK based dancehall artiste said, in an Instagram Live interview with DJ Lava, as she tried to quell the negative comments about them having never met each other.  She also said that when the pandemic is over she intends to travel to Jamaica to visit Kartel.

The negative comments and feelings haven’t stopped Kartel from expressing what he feels for Mercedez.

The public display started yesterday June 19th, when Kartel posted: “Happy Birthday LeeLee @lisamercedez,” to which she replied: “Thank you zaddy…… love you.”

Kartel then posted a little later on: “Happy Birthday LeeLee @lisamercedez.” She didn’t reply to that one but over 24, 000 people liked the post and many also wished her a happy birthday.

It seems Kartel wanted to ensure that fans understood how deep his feelings ran for her as he again posted birthday greetings. This time he said: “Birthday Greetinz,” to which she replied with two heart emoticons.

Vybz Kartel’s new boo is expected to appear on the upcoming album, Of Dons & Divas, which is expected to be released next week June 26, 2020.
