TWani’s Honda got hotter with the Mr. Universe, Skillibeng on the track, and even hotter now that they dropped the official music video.

The video for the original single was already popular among fans receiving over 500k views on YouTube since it was released in March. So far, the remix has gained over 80k views and counting since its release yesterday.

Quite a few fans are declaring that Skillibeng, with his unusual lyrics, made the track better. They’ve called this one a hit for the St. Thomas native as they expressed their approval on Instagram. Dre Island also gave his sentiments using fire emoticons in the comments on Instagram.

The video featured popular social media comedian Prince Pine who opened the video with the usual gimmicks. TWani, who is no stranger to comedy, was also creating a few laughs.

The energy and vibe from the video portrayed that the participants enjoyed every aspect of creating the project. Based on the indication from the fans, so did they. Kudos to the producers of video, which is doing well with fans.

One fan said, “This is one of the best music videos I have seen for the year. Credit to both artistes for a Job well done as well as to all the other people who were instrumental in the production of this music video.”

TWani whose real name is Twani Price, told the Jamaica Observer that the idea for the remix came out of a parody he made of Skillibeng’s hit single, Brick Pan Brick. The remix has opened new opportunities for TWani, who started his career as a blogger and recently transitioned into music with singles such as Car Man, which was his first.

“The remix has also opened up some doors for me now, as other producers are linking me.” The Plantain singer is indeed looking forward to doing more music as he transitions from blogger to recording artiste.

Without a doubt, Skillibeng is living up to his new title Mr. Universe among his fans. The Brick Boss is certainly on a roll with several releases this week including Torpedo and Rose that Grew from Concrete which is receiving a lot of positive feedback on social media.

“If by now you can’t see the the direction in which Skilibeng is heading something wrong wid yuh, I am certain that I am the only person recognizes Skilibeng’s potential to transcend dancehall,” said one user in the comments on YouTube.
