Dancehall deejay I-Octane dropped a new single titled Nah Switch on his YouTube channel from his upcoming album.

I-Octane’s signature voice can be heard throughout the song resonating his message to masses in a way only he can.

I-Octane starts the song off with the hook which seems to be a shout out to the Worl’ Boss Vybz Kartel for being a real G.

“Real G nah switch, wi nah sell
Nah snitch, wi nah tell
All when the badness a carry ga hell
We rather lock inah di cell like Kartel”

The opening scene of the new video shows two men in the back of a police car being escorted away. It skips to one of the men being interrogated in a dark room by a lone detective. Subtitles show the police asking “Who kill the youth?” With no reply, the officer continues “Look like you wah guh spend some time with your dj.”

The officer then proceeds to beat the suspect with his gun but still does not get an answer.

The second suspect is interviewed next. He, however, puts up no resistance. As soon as he is threatened with the gun he begins to cooperate. He is given a book and writes the other accomplice’s name in a book as the person who did the killing.

He and the officer then share a drink of Pepsi and he proceeds to speak “Boss mi tell him don’t dweet enuh”

A flashback is shown with him encouraging his accomplice to pull the trigger and shoot the victim to which he complied. They both ran after the deed was done and were caught by the cops.

The “informer” is then shown free on the streets and the convicted locked in a dark cell. The convict is handed a cell phone by a guard and makes a phone call. The video ends with the camera focusing on the “informer” as he approaches the police station. There is a loud bang and the video blacks out. This is very suggestive of the informer being shot by whoever the convict had called while in the cell but this can only be inferred.

The song is produced by Jones Avenue Records and the video by KD Visuals. I-Octane is receiving praise for this new reality song by his fans in the comments section.
