TeeJay Shares Tribute To All Mothers With Music Video For ‘A Mother’s Love’

Just in time for Mother’s Day tomorrow, the Uptop Boss, TeeJay is honoring all mothers with a moving song called A Mother’s Love.

The song was produced by Slyda Di Wizard Music. TeeJay sings his unwavering dedication to his mother for all the struggles and sacrifices that she has made for him. “Look how much things you do without/look how much things you neva got”, “Mummy, mi got fi yo back/no other love like like a mada love”.

The song has resonated with dancehall fans as many prepare to honor their own mothers this Sunday. One fan on youtube commented that the song was, “The best mother song in a long time…”.

For years, many top dancehall artists have shown appreciation to their mothers with emotional tributes on Mother’s Day. TeeJay joins the list of Sizzla, Vybz Kartel, Mavado, I-Octane, and others that have honored mothers in their music.

In the video directed by ShotByDeth, TeeJay’s own mother makes a cameo, combing his hair- which many dancehall artists cherish as a special act of love. The video also shows memorable moments between a young “TeeJay” and his mom.

It’s not the first time that Teejay has poured his heart out for his mother, either. In 2016, he released another Mother’s Day hit, titled Mama Love.
