Sweet Music Production bands with dancehall artiste Jahmiel for the release of his newest single The World, which premiered on his VEVO channel today May 1st. The deejay is back to business as usual, after finally stepping away from a 2- weeklong clash with his nemesis Chronic Law.

There is no telling if and when things may heat up between the two again, but in the interim the Great Man deejay is busying himself with some meaningful music.  He even considering a new EP or compilation after consulting fans today.

The World is a reflective, soulful sounding piece where Jahmiel voices his feelings about the evil that exist in a world that is good.  The verses story the betrayal of friends and the sad reality of the good ones that lose their lives, which ultimately leaves evil in the world. Combined with the burdens and struggles in life, the heavy load hurts his heart so much that he sings, “Sometime mi feel like mi just nu wah deh yah”. Check out the rest of the song below –

The track sounds a lot like his other singles Shepherd, Jah Over Everything and also Strongest Soldier. Fans have come accustomed to Jahmiel’s more conscious side though these songs. It also credits his multifaceted talent, especially recently after demonstrating how strong he can stand against the likes of Chronic Law in a ruthless dancehall dissing war.

Interestingly, Chronic Law released his single No Love four days ago, like Jahmiel singing a very similar tune. The Law Boss expresses the lack of love and devotion, often from those closest to him.

Jahmiel’s single The World is streaming well on YouTube with 50k views so far and loads of great fan feedback. Jean Fabrice Archer said, “Jahmiel.. The man of golden voice…Lyrically inspired” and another fan JahLuvDetta said, “True words life lessons very potent great man never give up!!MVP champion jamiel!! 💦💦💤💤👍👍🙏🙏🙏💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼. ‘The Random video expert’ expressed a similar view saying “Great man. Such an underrated artist.”
