Now there are some intriguing visuals to go with the epic tale that was the official audio for the single Tony Montanna. The widely acclaimed track was debuted by dancehall mogul Vybz Kartel on his VEVO page back in February. The new music video is finally here today (April 17th) exactly 2 months later and is currently streaming heavily on VybzKartel Radio on YouTube.

Like scenes right out of a gangster movie, Warrior Films have certainly out-done themselves with the Mafioso visual configurations for the Tony Montanna music video. As the lyrics state in the intro of the song, Kartel says ‘weh dem bwoy yah know bout country badness”, the plot takes us deep into the bushes of the country that seemingly one can only access via a sea vessel.

Aboard a debarking fishing boat, is a gang of the most ruthless villains you will find. They’re spotted before docking and immediately word gets to one of the Don’s million piranhas. She’s a fierce, master sniper and she takes out each villain one by one effortlessly and in record time.

However a skillful ‘Maradona’-like gunner makes it pass the ‘verandah’, defeats the head piranha and then attempts to catch the Don in the house like ‘Tony Montanna’. Though, as the Worl’ Boss promises in the lyrics of the track, “Yuh fxck if yuh go touch the front door, Bangarama!”. So when the gunner made it through the front door, we can all assume the shot fired after was his life ‘melting like gold’.

The movie-like film is a terrific illustration of what a Jamaican story of this nature would look like. The scenes are culturally rich and the actors are likely authentic of their mobster roles. The message and tone of the song have certainly come to light in this visual undertaking thanks to the production team, Warrior Films JA.

The Tony Montanna track was produced by T100 Records, distributed by Zojak World Wide and mixed by Redboom Supamix. Check out the visuals for the new music video below –
