Ravers Clavers pioneer Ding Dong has a hot new track Watch Dem and an epic music video to go with it. The official composition, which is produced by Chimney Record, debuted on the deejay’s VEVO page today February 12.

The view counts are flooding in at already 50k and counting as fans are enjoying the theatrical music video narrated by the deejay’s lyrical swag. Watch Dem tales several variations of bad mind people that exist and a simple warning to watch out for them.

The video displays three scenarios, envy, selfishness and criticism.

Envy is the man who feels nothing more than hatred towards a fellow neighbor just because he acquired a new job. So much so that he offers him a spliff with the intentions of lacing it with the carcass of a lizard. In the end the neighbor changes his mind and walks away. Feelings of defeat soon turn to regret when his friend yanks the spliff from his grip and sets it ablaze.

Selfish is the man that pulls up his motorcycle at a bar, greets his ‘friends’ then proceeds to order him self a drink without offering them a round. He savors his drinks alone for some time when another colleague joins the scene. The colleague buys a round for everyone and proceeds to drink and socialize with them until eventually they leave. The selfish man is left alone to drink in his own unkind company.

Critics are the street girls sitting on the stoop watching the passersby. They laugh at their neighbor as she passes because he hair is undone. But as soon as she does her do they nod in approval … a display of provisional companions.

The Good Ting Dem deejay reverberates his tutelage lyrics throughout the video, singing key messages like “ When you did bruk you and everybody alright, start make likkle money now, a bare fight. The same mouth weh you feed a give you bare bite, dem friendship a silicone – fake like”. He goes on to say “Mi nu wah none a dem pussy deh fi rate me, a bare bad mind ting a gwaan lately”.

The rhymes of the track are telling and relatable plus it has great upbeat tune. In fact at the end of the video, Ding Dong features a bunch of performers showing off their dancing skills to the beat of the song. Check it out below…
