I-Octane (Byiome Muir) has delivered another hard-hitting Dancehall track and video with his release of the official video for Banga Fone on Youtube, yesterday (Feb. 11).

The song has a nonstop, fast-paced beat that the singer is able to keep up with it, enhancing his superb delivery. The song seems to be centered around his lavish lifestyle and features shots of him in mansions, with girls in bikinis, throwing money about.

One line says: “Chopper outside like gun.” The beat is intentionally sped up as he also compares himself to popular Rap arise Kendrick Lamar saying that his lyrics are just as unique and can be delivered as quickly.

He also compares his style to the Universe Boss, Chris Gayle as he references the Jamaican batsman’s triple century. He emphasizes how protective he is of his assets and dares anyone to challenge his money.

Part of the video also focuses on a young man purchasing a lot of iPhones. While at the end, he hilariously takes a phone call on a very old and small first-generation mobile phone while counting his stack of US dollars.

The video has already amassed over 36 000 views since being released and his fans are loving it.

One fan said: “Banga phone soon raise tpc😂🤣🤣tuff song.” Another fan praised the artiste for always being true to himself. He said: “never you follow the crowd always be who you are from day one a message to every single individual,” while another added : “this gonna bee big than plutoclart released same time this year……. big progress.”

However, some of the commenters were disappointed with the song and said that he was not being a positive role model.

One disappointed fan said: “Big L bredda , we miss the Octane who sings songs fi uplift the yutes 🤦🏾♂️,” and another: “Looks bad when a good artist can’t stand for what he believes in and be real to the game and sing positive music for the youths. .. A joke thing 🙄.”

However they were in the minority of the more than 300 comments on the video and most fans shared the opinion that the song was a hot number, like this fan who said: “Video +song …. strong like concrete!!!! Well solid 🔥🔥🔥.”
