Jason “I Waata” Bailey continues to create a reputable name for himself within the Dancehall scene with his latest single LOUD with epic visuals to match.

LOUD is essentially a well-earned celebration of I Waata’s success since his first release in 2008 to now becoming a known name within the much-celebrated Dancehall industry and being regularly played on local radio stations. (Genna Jetlife, everybody know we now)

Chorus:

Ting loud, well loud.

Released about a week ago, the up-tempo tune from the Jettlife artiste has already garnered over 50 thousand views with comments from fans suggesting an overall positive and congratulatory response.

“Video tuff 🔥🔥🔥 Song tuff 🔥🔥🔥” commented one fan.  “Ute yah a real artist eno confidence level buck 💯” added another. One supporter took it a step further stating – “Next big ting inna dancehall🔥🔥”

Similar sentiments can be found one the Bailey’s instgram page @iwaatajettlife where he amassed a dedicated following of over 100 thousand fans. He’s even received nods of approval from fellow Dancehall deejays such as Ding Dong and Govana.

Hailing from Kintyre community, the young artiste explains in a prior local interview just how he got his stage name from his grandfather when he noticed he has a specific allergic reaction to a backyard plant:

“I got the name I Waata from my grandfather because I was allergic to a plant in my yard and when I looked at it, it always used to make my eyes  run water, so him say ‘eye water yu fi name’ so when mi start to do music in the second form, mi decide to use the name my grandfather give me, ‘eye waata’ and change the meaning because mi come from the inner city, and I Waata is the signature of the poor”.

It is evident that the young deejay is dedicated to his craft having just released a collaboration with fellow Jettlife artiste and long-time friend Intence called Tension.
