Intence And Iwaata Release Official Audio For ‘Tension’: Listen

Rising Dancehall artistes, Intence and Iwaata have released the official lyric video for their collaboration titled Tension. Tension was released on January 17 and was produced by IAMWAV Music. So far, the single has garnered over 110,000 views on YouTube.

Both entertainers, who are often identified as a duo, have done prior collaborations and shared several stages. However, the two, who have been friends for years actually have separate flourishing careers. Both creating a buzz on the music scene, they have joined forces once more for the single Tension.

The lyric video shows Iwaata and Intence as animated characters seated before an unidentified individual. The song’s lyrics match the title perfectly as the artistes make it known that anyone who dares to cross their paths will become their sworn enemy, “F**k wid di link, yo a mad mad sitn. Last shot man mash, bwoy head missing.” The song also promotes the gyallis theme that is prevalent in the majority of songs released by dancehall entertainers.

It seems Iwaata and Intence can do no wrong as positive reviews flooded the song’s Youtube comment section. One fan said, “Intence an iwata start off the new year good 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍”. Another commented, “Ying!! Another banger from intence and iwaata😋 2020 a fi unuh.”

Before there was Tension, the jetlife artistes collaborated on the track titled Harden, released in 2018, and have both graced the 2019 Reggae Sumfest and Summer Sizzle stages.

In September 2019, the two were featured on Tim Westwood TV’s programme, hosted on the British platform, Capital XTRA, with a hot freestyle. They performed a number of their tracks while supporting each other throughout the entire segment.

The comments section was filled with fans commending Iwaata and Intence on their camaraderie and talent. “Them yute yah need more respect! Mih rate them tuh bbc!” is what one YouTuber had to say.

With the level of unity both entertainers have been showing, it’s no wonder they are reaping benefits from their music careers.
