Smaddy Afi Feel It is the title of one of Chronic Law’s latest single. The dancehall deejay debuted the audio on his VEVO and YouTube pages on February 5 and also a short extract on Instagram prior, gearing fans for what was the upcoming release.

This is just one of the many musical releases from the Law Boss in the last couple weeks. It seems like he’s spending every waking hour in the studio these days. Since the start of the year he has released Cya Stop Bad, Eiffel, Dark, Wild & Rich with Quada, Feel So Lost ft. Shaqstar and the day before Smaddy Afi Feel It was Plastic Smile.

Smaddy Afi Feel It is a touching chronicle of years of hardships and tragedy faced by the deejay with his resulting frustration spawning revenge. Law sings, “From mi likkle bit (young) mi heart heavy, nuff a mi n-gga dem gone aready, fxck who no waa accept it, smaddy (somebody) affi bawl, people have fi bury”.

He further states his tears wont fall in vein and that someone will be held responsible, “smaddy affi feel the pain yow”.

Like the revelations in a journal, Law’s lyrics expresses his feelings of pain for the misfortune that he experiences on a day to day basis. In another verse he says, “ We two dawg just gone, nu have nothing fi smile bout, laad gad (Lord God) roun yesso no nice, affi retaliate mi no care bout five O (the police)”. More revengeful promises resound throughout the song like, “From you diss the family yuh vanish and mi mean it. It hurt mi fi see mi dawg pon the tv RIP man a real G somebody afi weak fi it yow”.

Chronic has a lot on his chest it appears; his song Plastic Smile has the same gloomy tone and message as Smaddy Afi Feel It. It expresses how he feels cut up inside and nothing feels right but still he wears a plastic smile. His other track, Feel So Lost featuring Shaqstar is also self-explanatory. The lyrics talk about feeling confused and lost as he watches people around him fall while he rise. In the song, the deejay says even though he has all this money he still feels unhappy as well as all these friends but remains heavily guarded and wary.

With all this time being spent in the studio to communicate his pain, Chronic is clearly reaping great success. Smaddy Afi Feel It already has almost 100k views on YouTube and combined with his Instagram fan base another 22k plus loads of supporting and uplifting comments. Things are surely looking good for the Law Boss.
