Stalk Ashley – that’s the name of a young and very talented Jamaican female artiste, known for her sweet and melodious voice. Stalk Ashley has found her place in the hearts of music fans who absolutely adore her singing voice, music and relatable lyrics.

Although many times compared to dancehall entertainer, Jada Kingdom, as they portray a similar singing style and also have similar tones, Stalk Ashley is carving out her own path in the industry, even making international links.

Her newest project is Volume 1 released under the moniker Bona Carter, which is her alias seen on her Instagram page. Volume 1 is the acoustic version of Ashley’s singles Young and Summer 16. She made the announcement on her Instagram four days ago.

In the video, which was released on January 31, she is seen seated in a room along with a guitarist, keyboard player, numerous sensual artistic drawings, and also, photos of musicians – all to set the mood for her tracks, which are known to tantalize the minds of her listeners. Stalk Ashley proceeds to perform an enthralling cover of her songs while seated, in a relaxed manner, on a table.

Based on the response from fans in the comments section, the vocalist outdid herself and reminded them of why they adore her craft. One fan commented, “One of dancehall’s BEST vocalists. PERIOD.” Another said, “Your voice is everything.” Many others sang her praises, providing support, which has been present since she showcased her talent to a wider audience with her remix of Jada Kingdom’s hit song, Banana.

Since then, Stalk Ashley has officially released three singles, Sin Sex, Drunk Text, and Young. Young has garnered almost 1 million views on YouTube since its December 2019 release. The young star has now been teasing her upcoming release titled Summer 16 which fans have literally begun to plead for on social media.

As it pertains to building her international fanbase, Stalk Ashley was featured on BBC Radio 1 with British rapper, Stormzy, where they did a cover of Brown Skin Girl by Beyonce. She also posted a photo of her hanging out with American singer, and songwriter, Kehlani.

Stalk Ashley seems to be making steady, strategic moves towards higher success.
