On the heels of a fresh betrayal, Chronic Law bounces back with the unexpected love song, Too Much. The 6ixx artiste talks love and hurt in the new single signaling his return to social media following the recent hack of his email and social media accounts.  Listen to it below.

Ackeme “Chronic Law” Campbell seems to be no stranger to love, although he swears to have never tried it and vows that he never will.  In the three-minute single, released under 2019 Attomatic Records / Dan Sky Records, the artiste explicitly denies feeling or displaying love, warning his listeners of the pretense and pain with which it is often accompanied.

Since its upload to YouTube last week, Too Much has gained over 205,000 views and is a welcomed change of topic for Chronic Law fans – many of whom have expressed their own failure in love.

Too Much ironically follows Chronic Law’s betrayal of a different nature, which left him feeling just as cheated. The new dancehall artiste’s email, Instagram and YouTube accounts were hacked for two weeks in early November, resulting in the removal of a number of his most popular music videos including Hill Top Badness, Government and Circumstance, now totaling over 3.8 million views combined since their re-upload to YouTube. The hackers, who boasted to have only correctly guessed his password rather than systematically penetrate his accounts, demanded US$10,000 for their release. It is still unclear whether the ransom was paid.

His restored Instagram account post a cover for the new track which was captioned, “Page is Now Back In The Right Hands”.

Chronic Law is scheduled to perform at one of Jamaica’s most renowned cultural festivals, Rebel Salute, in January 2020. The artiste is strongly supported by veteran Reggae musician and Rebel Salute promoter, Tony Rebel.
