Chimney Records Takes Off With Aircraft Riddim

Popular Jamaican music label Chimney Records, led by producers Jordan McClure and David Hayle, has returned with an infectious dancehall beat known as Aircraft Riddim.

The new riddim, which features some of dancehall’s most prolific entertainers was released on November 16, 2019, includes singles by Shenseea, Chris Martin, Teejay, Aidonia, Ding Dong, Govana, Zagga, IWaata, Intence, and Jahmiel.

Aidonia leads the pack with the title track, Aircraft, having set the pace with over 500,000 views and counting, while Chris Martin offered another inspirational tune with Big Big.

Govana lived up to his track record with Up Front, which was dropped with a high-quality music video that has almost racked up an impressive 1 million views in just 1 week.

Shenseea’s track on the album is titled Trick’a Treat. The Romeich Entertainment, label mate is known to release songs that her fans easily gravitate to, with catchy melodies; Trick’a Treat was no different and is now standing at over 420,000 views on Youtube.

Trailblazer on the entertainment scene, Teejay, produced a hardcore single on the Aircraft Riddim titled Draco. The single has garnered almost 400,000 views and enjoys the 14th spot on the Jamaican Youtube trending list.

Ding Dong also made his mark on the star-studded beat with Watch Dem. The release comes shortly after his viral music videos for Gyallis Story and Snappin‘. Ding Dong was recently named the King of Dance in Dancehall at the 20th-anniversary celebration of Magnum Tonic Wine.

Zagga

Jahmiel satisfied his fans with his track on the riddim, Money Money, released a month after his latest music video for I’m Blessed, and Zagga did not disappoint with Keep Calm.

Intence and IWaata placed their spin on the riddim as well with their releases, Dream Life and Vexx.
