Blvk H3ro isn’t just starting a tour tonight. He’s starting it on his birthday, and he wants everyone in the room to show up ready to move.

The Jamaican artist announced on Facebook that the Strictly Good Vibes Tour opens at Gold-Diggers in Los Angeles. He was upfront about what kind of night he expects: “bring dancing shoes,” he wrote, with a grinning emoji.

Doors open at 7pm, and Blvk H3ro takes the stage at 9:15. That gives the early crowd a couple of hours to settle in before the birthday set begins.

The biggest draw for longtime listeners is the setlist. Blvk H3ro says he’ll be “playing cuts from the New project,” which means LA gets a first live taste of material most fans haven’t lived with yet.

That’s a bold way to open a run. Leaning on unfamiliar songs can test a crowd, but it also gives an artist a live read on what lands before the music circulates widely.

Opening night in a city like LA, with an audience showing up partly to celebrate him, is a forgiving room for that kind of trial.

The post doesn’t name the new project or say when it’s coming out. Anyone hoping for a title or release date will have to listen for clues from the stage or wait for the next announcement.

Blvk H3ro also won’t be carrying the night alone. In a postscript, he said “The upsetter BAMBAATA & 3PEAT LIVE MUSIC” will join him, with Kali M handling MC duties.

That lineup turns the evening into something closer to a community event than a standard headline set. A dedicated MC is a long-standing part of reggae and dancehall culture, keeping energy up between acts and making sure the crowd stays part of the show.

3Peat Live Music points toward a full live sound rather than a backing track. For music built on bass, groove and call-and-response, a live band can change the feel of the songs completely.

The post read less like a press release and more like an invitation from a friend. Between the party emojis, the speaker icon next to his set time and the “🙏🏽” closing out his thanks to the guests, the tone matched the tour’s name.

That casual, direct approach fits how many independent reggae artists now reach their fans. Instead of waiting on a publicist’s announcement, Blvk H3ro posted the details himself on the day of the show.

The obvious questions are about everything after LA. The post doesn’t list further dates, cities or venues, so it’s unclear how long the Strictly Good Vibes Tour will run or where it heads next.

For now, the focus is one room on one night. Blvk H3ro has new songs, a live band, a guest, an MC and a birthday to mark, and the doors at Gold-Diggers open at 7.
