MOLIY’s voice has already ridden one remix past a billion streams this year, and now she’s bringing that momentum to Mr Eazi’s camp.
The Ghanaian American singer, the breakout voice behind the global hit Shake It to the Max (FLY), joins him on his new single Comfort, out now via emPawa Africa.
The pairing makes plenty of sense on paper. Both artists carry careers shaped by Ghana’s ongoing pull on global Afropop, and Comfort leans right into that shared territory with a buoyant, cross-border Afro-fusion feel.
Behind the boards is Nigerian hitmaker Ragee, a producer with a hot streak to his name. His recent credits include Davido’s Unavailable and Ayra Starr’s Hot Body and Who’s Dat Girl, so he knows how to build a record that travels.
What’s interesting is that Ragee doesn’t drag Mr Eazi somewhere new here. Instead, the track circles back to the breezy, mid-tempo Banku Music sound that has defined so much of his catalogue, the laid-back style he built his name on years ago.
Lyrically, Comfort sits in warm, romantic territory. The song is about closeness and reassurance, the kind of emotional backup that keeps a relationship steady when things get shaky.
The chemistry comes through in the vocal contrast. Mr Eazi keeps his familiar relaxed delivery, while MOLIY brings a brighter presence, and the two trade lines in an easy back-and-forth that suits the song’s mood.
For Ghanaian listeners, this one lands a little closer to home. Mr Eazi, though Nigerian, has long leaned on creative relationships with Ghanaian artists and producers, with names like Juls, GuiltyBeatz and KillBeatz all playing key roles across his career.
That history is part of why the MOLIY link feels natural rather than opportunistic. It extends the Ghana and Nigeria musical exchange that Banku Music helped push onto international playlists in the first place.
There’s also a business story humming underneath. emPawa Africa, the label behind the release, is Mr Eazi’s own venture, so putting a fast-rising name like MOLIY on one of his singles keeps his platform tied to the artists currently moving the culture.
Then there’s the rollout. Snippets of Comfort were already doing the rounds on TikTok before the official drop, building the sort of early buzz that can decide how far a song like this goes in its first few weeks.

Comfort also isn’t arriving in isolation. Mr Eazi has been on a prolific run of new music throughout 2026, steadily stacking releases rather than holding everything back for one big moment.
The open question now is how audiences split their attention. Longtime fans get the Banku Music feel they’ve been asking for, while MOLIY’s billion-stream audience gets a fresh entry point into his world.
With the TikTok clips already circulating and the full track now live, the next few weeks should show which of those crowds carries Comfort furthest. Given how Mr Eazi has been releasing this year, there’s a fair chance another drop is already queued up behind it.
