Masicka has played big stages across Jamaica and beyond, but he has never headlined his own show in the city that raised him. That changes on Saturday, December 19, 2026, when the Forever1NE Music Festival lands at Caymanas Park in Portmore.
The deejay, born Javaun Fearon, has always worn his Portmore roots openly. Bringing his own festival to Caymanas Park, a venue better known for horse racing than dancehall, turns that hometown pride into a full event with his name on the gate.
The show is being presented by Masicka and his 1Syde team in partnership with Zimi Entertainment, with Magnum signed on as title partner. Masicka will headline alongside special guests and additional entertainment. The full line-up and festival details are still to come.
Masicka framed the event as something bigger than himself. “Forever1NE has always represented more than just me. It represents the people who have been with me from the beginning, the fans, the team and everybody who believes in the journey,” he said.
He was just as direct about why Portmore matters. “Portmore is home, so being able to touch the stage here and bring Forever1NE to the people means a lot. After everything that has happened this year, it feels right to celebrate this moment at home,” he said.

He did not spell out what “everything that has happened this year” covers, and that line will have fans reading between the lines. It does land differently coming from an artist whose 2026 included a major label album rollout.
That album is the other half of this story. In August, Masicka released Forever Reign, his third studio album, a 17-track project put out through Def Jam Recordings.
That deal put one of dancehall’s most consistent hitmakers on one of hip hop’s most storied labels, a step plenty of Jamaican acts have chased.
Forever Reign followed Generation of Kings in 2021 and 438 in 2023. The jump to Def Jam raised an obvious question for longtime supporters about how a bigger international push would sit alongside his core audience back home.
Forever1NE reads like part of the answer. Rather than celebrating the new chapter overseas first, Masicka is taking it straight back to Portmore, where his earliest fans can see it up close.

He is also aiming high with the production itself. Fans can expect a full experience,” he said, promising “big performances, surprises and energy from start to finish.” He added, “We want to create something that represents dancehall and Jamaica on a major level.
The December date puts the festival in the thick of Jamaica’s busy holiday show season, when local crowds and returning visitors fill venues across the island. That means Forever1NE will be competing for attention, but it also gives Masicka a ready audience.
For now, the biggest unknown is who will join him on that stage. With special guests promised and surprises teased, the line-up announcements could shape the conversation around this show for the rest of the year.
