Malie Donn’s toughest competition on Jamaica’s Apple Music chart is himself.

The dancehall artist has claimed the top three spots with his “Van Cleef” trilogy, turning a hit single into a series with serious staying power. On the October 31 chart, “Van Cleef Pt 3” leads at No. 1, followed by “Vancleef Pt 2” at No. 2 and the original at No. 3.

The chart sweep comes as the series reportedly passes 30 million streams across digital platforms, with the first two installments alone accounting for more than 8.7 million Spotify plays.

The original has accumulated 5,441,169 Spotify streams, while Part 2 has generated 3,302,430—a combined 8,743,599 before the newest release’s developing tally is added.

Listeners are still returning in substantial numbers. The supplied streaming snapshot puts the original at 42,158 daily plays and Part 2 at 38,559, bringing their combined daily Spotify activity above 80,000 streams.

Released October 27, “Van Cleef Pt 3” quickly joined the action, reportedly attracting roughly 300,000 YouTube views within its first 48 hours. The release carries credits for Attomatic Records, Salkey Recorz, Crook Empire and Dan Sky Records.

The trilogy’s success adds momentum to a busy season for Malie Donn, whose debut studio album, The Golden Child, arrived September 4 through VP Records.

The 21-track project gave listeners a broader introduction to his sound while establishing a chart presence beyond Jamaica. According to October reporting by the Jamaica Observer, the album reached No. 1 on Apple Music’s Reggae Albums charts in Bermuda, St. Lucia and the Turks and Caicos Islands. It also peaked at No. 4 in the United Kingdom and Canada and No. 5 in the United States.

With his debut album finding an audience overseas and three singles occupying Jamaica’s Apple Music podium, Malie Donn has given fans plenty to play—and little reason to leave his catalogue.
