Drake is about to turn 40, and the RIAA showed up early with a pile of gifts. On Friday (Oct. 23), the Toronto star picked up 30 new certifications in one sweep, pushing him past 350 million certified units. No artist has ever reached that number.
The headline plaques are big ones. VIEWS, “In My Feelings” and “Marvin’s Room” all went diamond, while “God’s Plan” is now double diamond. That brings Drake to 18 diamond plaques, extending a record he already held.
The spread across his catalog is what makes this batch fun to scroll through. “Marvin’s Room” dates back to the Take Care era in 2011, while So Far Gone, the 2009 mixtape that started everything, just hit 3x platinum. At the other end, ICEMAN went platinum only five months after its May release.
One Dance” is the real monster here, now certified 15x platinum a decade after VIEWS dropped in 2016.
Scorpion climbed to 9x, More Life reached 6x, Certified Lover Boy landed at 5x and the 2019 compilation Care Package earned its first platinum plaque. Scorpion’s two biggest singles, “God’s Plan” and “In My Feelings,” both sit in diamond territory now.

The Certified Lover Boy tracks cleaned up too. Knife Talk” with 21 Savage and Project Pat jumped to 8x, “Way 2 Sexy” hit 4x and “Fair Trade” with Travis Scott reached 5x.
“Girls Want Girls,” “No Friends in the Industry,” “Champagne Poetry,” “Yebba’s Heartbreak” and the JAY Z collab “Love All” all moved up as well.
Her Loss, his 2022 joint album with 21 Savage, got plenty of love. “Circo Loco,” “Major Distribution,” “Pussy and Millions,” “Broke Boys,” “Privileged Rappers” and “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” each went platinum, with “On BS” reaching 2x.
From For All the Dogs, “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole and “IDGAF” with Yeat both landed at 2x.
The timing lands differently given the last couple of years. Drake spent much of 2024 on the losing end of public opinion during his feud with Kendrick Lamar, then sued Universal Music Group over “Not Like Us” in early 2025. A federal judge tossed that suit last October, and Drake moved to appeal.

His supporters will read 350 million units as proof the feud never dented his grip on listeners. Skeptics will point out that streams now count toward certifications, which naturally favors an artist with a catalog this deep and this constantly replayed. Both things can be true, and the numbers still put him alone at the top.
Meanwhile, the birthday celebrations are already rolling. Drake kicked off the week with dinner above the CN Tower and a courtside seat at the Toronto Raptors home opener. He then headed to New York, where he was spotted Thursday night (Oct. 22) at Mamo.
The big day itself is Saturday (Oct. 24). With this many plaques in the mail, the trophy room might need an extension before the cake is even cut.
