Honorebel has spent more than two decades crossing musical borders. Now, the Jamaican recording artiste has come home to reggae.
His 14th studio album, Winner Circle, was released worldwide on August 21 by Phantom Music Group, with global distribution through Zojak Worldwide.
The 13-track set marks a return to the sound that launched his career after years of experimenting with dancehall, hip-hop, pop, EDM and Latin music.
“Reggae is where my journey began, and it has always been a part of who I am,” Honorebel said. “With Winner Circle, I wanted to come back to that foundation and make music that reflects the experiences, lessons and blessings that brought me here.”
The album tackles love, faith, family, resilience and triumph, with appearances from Big Mountain, Nyanda, Etana and Glenn Washington.
Highlights include Forever Yours, Miss You, Mama, Rise Up, Winner and the streetwise Real Estate Ova License Plate.
Honorebel has built one of reggae’s most versatile independent careers, collaborating with international heavyweights including Pitbull, Akon, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Tory Lanez, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder and Tarrus Riley.
Yet Winner Circle is not about celebrity roll calls. It is a victory lap for an artiste who has survived the bruises, detours and demands of the music business without losing sight of his roots.
“Success is a journey, not a destination,” he said. “The winner’s circle isn’t only about reaching the top. It’s about having the courage to keep moving forward.”
The project’s production team includes Willie Lindo, Kashief Lindo, Kemar McGregor, Paul Kastick, Mark Hosang, Tad Dawkins and Tad Dawkins Jr, among others.
After carrying his Jamaican sound across continents and genres, Honorebel has returned to where it all began.
The circle is complete—and he sounds determined to finish as a winner.
