Skeng’s Reggae Sumfest debut was no small undertaking, according to the Protocol singer and the receipts.

“Million dolla fi mi suit pu–yhole!” he bragged while closing the Night 1 of festival on Saturday morning (July 23) at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay.

The 21-year-old was fully decked out in a Burberry getup, from his hat right down to his shoes.  The Vintage Check Technical Cotton Bucket Hat, which he chucked into the crowd and straight into the hands of a lucky female fan, was the least costly of his attire, taking him back an easy CAD$500, while his must-have for the stage, the Vintage Check Nylon Backpack, was $1750.  The entire fit brought the bill to $7,209 (approx. JA $854, 906), based on an in-store receipt provided to DancehallMag.

Of course, the outfit was a key component to executing his track London, in which he sings, “My style dem ah kick like Van Damme Ah $30 grand mad dawg fimmi Burberry hat.”

“There is something weirdly interesting about Skeng’s style which matches his personality perfectly. Since he dropped London he’s been on a Burberry binge and he brought it to Sumfest and looks great!” said the Prime Minister’s National Youth Awardee and stylist Neko “Bootleg Rockstar” Kelly.

“It’s fresh, trendy, and stylish. People might not realize this but Skeng has developed an amazing personal style and he’s making a lot of great fashion choices,” Kelly continued.

Fans of the Talibhan deejay didn’t miss his big-ticket look. “Million dollar suit💰🤬,” said one person. Others chimed in, “Burberry out 🔥,” and “Burberry Gaddddd 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️.”

Besides bragging about his “million-dollar suit” several times during his performance, he exhilarated fans with his hit tracks Gvnman Shift, Protocol featuring Tommy Lee Sparta, Talibhan, and others.
