IQ, Kranium And Stalk Ashley Serve Up ‘Bun Fi Bun’ Remix

Britain-based Jamaican artist IQ has teamed up with Stalk Ashley and Kranium on the remix for his Bun Fi Bun track. The song and official music video were debuted today (May 19) and already seems to be getting lots of positive feedback.

The original single featuring Stefflon Don was released in January, and has surpassed the million view mark on YouTube.

In the song’s spinoff, the trio encourages the faithful to cheat on their partners if they’ve been on the receiving end of infidelity.

IQ flew out to Jamaica in April to shoot the video on the north coast. It starts out with IQ (whose given name is Cairo Dawkins) on a balcony with a beautiful oceanic view starting off with his lines “When yuh man is cheating/ Baby come we guh f**k pon him…”

He then meets Stalk Ashley in a dark-tinted room, which shows her in a sexy red lingerie. She didn’t hold back, immediately hopping on the rhythm and letting listeners know that she isn’t opposed to reciprocating “bun.”

“If mi man is cheating/ Him nuh deserve this/ Da fk yah only serve one purpose/ Mi nuh wah yuh, just a fk yuh fi hurt him…” she sings in her sultry voice.

There were also scenes of the two getting up close and personal in the suit as they harmonized. Meanwhile, Kranium’s scene was shot outdoor on the waterfront, alongside a female clad in a sexy red dress, leaning against a contrasting blue car.

His approach was more calm and collected as he split his attention between looking into the camera, and lighting up a spliff. “Skin it out an’ gimme now/ Mek mi grease di crease fi yuh/ Underneath yuh feel suh good/ Mi cyaa believe him a cheat pon yuh…” he deejays.

One of the apparent standout lines based on fan reaction is, “Mash yuh aguh mash up him head when him hear seh yuh a siddung pon a new cocky head”

The video culminates with the three in outdoor shots at night time. By this time IQ and Stalk Ashley changed outfits—the latter in a shimmering silver and black dress. In the final scene, Stalk Ashley’s “main man” eventually catches her in the act with IQ.

IQ is the younger brother of Dancehall artist QQ. They have teamed up on previous tracks including Movie, Heaven and Scream.
