Skillibeng Drops Visuals For New Song ‘Whap Whap’: Watch

Skillibeng just dropped the video for his latest single Whap Whap featuring Jamaican upcoming artist F.S. This is his first drop since officially signing to RCA Records. The track is what you would expect from Skilli—an artist who lyrically doesn’t mince words.

It isn’t the first time that he’s teamed up with F.S. In February last year, they released Energya track that is heavily slept on—and again with Whap Whap the two lyricists light up the track without competing for the spotlight.

Shot between Jamaica and Trinidad, by Matt Swinsky (Ja) and Shane Creative (TT), the video shows Skilli moving through East Port of Spain with cameos from a few artists and the man behind the Trinidad Zess movement, Deejay Pun.

“Skilli is my brother,” Pun told DancehallMag, when asked how the link-up came about. “We’ve had a relationship since 2019 when he reached out to me with a dubplate to  promote Brick pan Brick.”

There has been a connection between Jamaica’s Dancehall artists and the Trinibad movement in T&T for a while and the choice to shoot Whap Whap between the two islands just seals that even further.
