It is not just women who go through heartbreak, men also experience the same distress- that’s according to artist G Whizz.

This single which boast an AfroCaribbean sound is a flip on the usual narrative which highlights women experiencing heart break, instead G Whizz sings about a man going through the same emotional ordeal.

“Men go through a lot with women who violate and play with their hearts as well, so I know lots of people can relate to the topic, especially men,” G Whizz said.

“We wanted to release the first single to show fans we can create topical songs,’ G Whizz added.

G Whizz noted that his  upcoming album Just Winning was not only topical but he believed that the content of the body of work would see him reaching a bigger audience.

The artist further noted that he was elated that his first worldwide project was at its completion stage and would be available for fans in February 2022.

Despite already having done a full length album project called Live Life And Love It, G Whizz says he still considers Just Winning his debut album since his last project was only released in Japan.

“It’s been months in the making and I’m excited for persons to hear the growth and changes over my career, there is something there for original fans and for prospective fans alike. Everyone can find something there they can relate to.” G Whizz shared
