Reggae Singer Chuck Fenda Gets Married To Longtime Girlfriend

Reggae veteran Chuck Fenda tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Abigail Walters on Saturday, December 18.

The Brooklyn-born entertainer, whose real name is Leshorn Whitehead, had been dating Walters for six years prior. They also have two kids together, Da’Miyah and Dalton.

Fenda, 49, shared the happy occasion with his Instagram followers over the weekend with a series of wedding photos and a toast to his new wife.

“6 years together with two beautiful children, it wasn’t an easy road but we stick together though thick and thin, love this beautiful woman dearly,” he wrote. Adding, “Had to end this year like this…my queen my wife, my motivator, my best friend… you know how it go…. cheers to a new beginning 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤.”

The newly minted Mrs. Whitehead — an entrepreneur of Island Girl Boutique — had a toast of her own, and also shared the moment on social media.

There was an outpouring of congratulatory responses from Fenda’s fans, many of which thanked him for the update on the events of his personal life. 

“I Love The Update @chuck_fenda Yaaaaaaaaaassss Right Way To Do It. Congratulations is in that order gods continous blessings over your union. I just love love ❤️,” said one person. Another added, “Beautiful😍 love is lovely ❤️congratulations and I wish you many more years of togetherness.”

 As for what’s going on in his professional life, the Reggae star released a string of singles this year.

Eternal Fire dropped in February, and was quickly followed up by Tonight that same month. Another track Guh Fi Dem landed in April and Walk By Faith last July. Fenda also voiced on the Gun John Crow Riddim with the likes of Delly Ranks, Power Man, Bramma, Mawga Don, and Nardo Ranks.

The singer is best known for hits such as All About the Weed, Gwaan Plant, Gash Dem, and Coming Over with Cherine Anderson.
