Emerging Dancehall artist and popular YouTuber Nklyne is mourning the death of his mother, 54-year-old Lorna Lake, a farmer, who was killed on Friday night.

Calls to the Guard singjay’s cellphone by DancehallMag went unanswered over the weekend as Nklyne has maintained his silence on the tragic incident.

Ms. Lake was found in bushes in a community called Blenheim, Manchester near the home she shared with her common-law husband. She was first reported as being kidnapped on Friday night until the gruesome discovery of her body hours later.

She is also the mother of YouTubers Twi and Vinch.

Police reports are that at about 9 p.m. last Friday, the couple was at home when a robber entered their one-bedroom dwelling demanding money.

The robber reportedly took them outside and tied them up in nearby bushes where Lake’s common-law husband was brutally beaten.

Lake’s common-law partner collapsed and the robber, believing that he was dead, took her to another area in nearby bushes.

Lake’s bruised body was later found by the police face down, after the police were alerted about her abduction. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Lake’s son, Vinch, in a video uploaded on the YouTube channel VINCH & ROSH, shared his pain.

“We live in a savage world, people evil, people do evil stuff. Me ask me brother dem why God make my mother dead dem way yah…. My mother call me everyday and say, yow me pray fi unuh, and God know my mother is a clean heart person,” he said.
