Usain Bolt, Rihanna, Cardi B And More Creepy & Not-So Creepy Looks From Halloween 2021
It was Halloween over the weekend and we caught some creepy and not-so creepy costumes from some of our favorite celebs. While most Dancehall acts were just too cool for dress-up but ‘halloweened’ anyways, others charged headfirst into the festivities to tap into their spooky and fun side.
Usain Bolt and his family
The fastest man alive, dressed as a priest, and his longtime partner, Kasi Bennett, dressed as a scary nun, danced with their children Olympia, who was dressed as a skeleton, and their twin boys Thunder and Saint, who were dressed as the scarecrow and the lion from the Wizard of Oz.
On his Instagram stories, Bolt posted his girlfriend dancing to Michael Jackson’s mega-hit, ‘Thriller’ with daughter, Olympia. The stories then cut to Olympia, who has seemingly had enough of the Halloween shenanigans, tinkering on her tablet, and her father who jokingly asked Bennett, “Are you supposed to be a nun? So, where that child come from? As a priest I feel you should come into confession room. Is there something you need to tell me?”
The story then cuts to the Bolt twins, tumbling all over each other in their adorable costumes as their mom tries to make them sit up for pictures.
‘Bad Likkle Ting’ Denyque
Dancehall singer Denyque went with this scary getup inspired by The Purge movie. Dressed in a sexy latex bodysuit, hunting boots, and accessorised with a double blade Viking axe and a very frightening red-lit LED Purge mask, Denyque definitely brought the shock-factor to the trick or treat playground.
It’s ‘Morphin Time’ With The Henriques
Sean Paul might have tapped out of this year’s Halloween celebration but his family seized every bit of it. It was ‘Morphin Time’ in the Henriques and co. family when they all transformed into the mighty Power Rangers. Looking fierce as ever in her Mighty Morphin Red Ninja outfit, Paul’s wife Jodi Jinx says she rather identifies as ‘a Go-Go Power Ranger,’ while her sister Traci chose to be the Yellow Mighty Morphin Ranger Key. The kiddos were cute as ever – Levi suited up as the Blue Ninja Ranger, Remi was dolled in her Pink Power dress while Stevie, Traci’s little one, was the adorable Purple Jungle Fury Power Ranger.
Just A Few Pumpkins Living Their Best Lives
Pumpkin heads, Keticia ‘TC’ Chatman formerly of the Team Spice dance crew and a few friends decided they’d all take turns as the traditional holiday orange fruit this season. They made a pretty intimidating video being a bunch of scary pumpkin heads while ‘living their best lives😊😊😊’ – watch:

Queen Nicki The Samurai
Dancehall singer Queen Nicki came out slaying in her Samurai costume over the weekend. While she dazzled in the full black ninja body suit with hoodie and red straps from Trends Fashion Boutique, Nicki left fans wondering, what if she only completed the look with a mask and sword. “Happy Halloween guys❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤 should have take pic with my mask and sword 😔😔,” she apologized in her IG share.

Tessellated The Warrior
Reggae singer Tessellated also felt like unleashing his inner Samurai for Halloween. Decked in a gold and brown Kimono robe, matching pants and knee high boots, the Sweeter singer also showed off his karate moves on the ‘gram to truly embody a Ninja.
Mavado And Alkaline Costume-less At Halloween
When you’re the Gully Gad and Vendetta Boss, costumes are a mere waste of fabric. Dancehall stars, Mavado and Alkaline showed up at the Scream ‘Sexy Scary’ party at Club Vault in Hollywood, Florida this weekend dressed as themselves.
Salxo Family Patrol
While we were hoping to see a sizzling Halloween look from Shenseea this time around, her manager Wassim Sal Slaiby came through to represent. The distinguished music manager totally embraced the holiday festivities, doubling as a part of the Paw Patrol tribe with the family and in another appearance, impersonating the fictional character Tony Montana of the 1983 movie Scarface.

Leaving behind his usual glitz and glam, rapper Safaree took things back to the Stone Age, dressing up as Fred Flintstone for his Halloween getup. He nailed it all right, especially with his baby son, Legend Samuels posing in his arms as Bamm-Bamm.

The Incredibles – Elastigirl Spice And The Fam
Safaree and his fam weren’t the only “Incredibles” celebrity clan this Halloween. The Queen of Dancehall and her family also felt like being super heroes. The kids might have picked out Spice’s ‘Elastigirl’ costume and Justin Budd’s ‘Mr. Incredible’ muscle suit along with their own Incredibles outfit, but this family of four was certainly a big hit with the fans. Dancehall King, Vybz Kartel signaled his approval, commenting “Dis Baaad!!! 🥰🥰,” on Spice’s Instagram share, while Popcaan added, “Bunup 😂😂.”

She might have had to work at show in Philadelphia this weekend, but Megan Thee Stallion wasn’t about to let the Holloween fun go by without slaying some hot girl ‘ish. Cardi B As Sexy Morticia Addams
No one did scary better than Cardi B as Morticia Addams in her Halloween costume. Her exquisite black metal dress, which was crafted using an intricate 6-way “spiderweb” stretch technique, was custom “made to fit Cardi B’s exact dimensions like a second skin” by designer Natalia Fedner. Along with the rest of the WAP singer’s glam squad, including stylist Kollin Carter, hairstylist Mia of TokyoStylez and makeup guru Erika La’ Pearl, they knocked this look out the park.
Cardi also joined Kulture for some mom-and-daughter fun, twinning in another custom-made look. The two donned enchanting witch costumes with crystal encrusted gloves courtesy of fashion designer Garo Sparo with the customary props – the elaborate witch hat, broom, and veil.
Rihanna As Gunna
Obviously taken by an eye-catching ensemble that Gunna rocked at New York Fashion Week back in September last year, Rihanna clearly wanted nothing more than to be the Drip Too Hard rapper this Halloween. To say Rihanna ‘bodied’ his entire look is an utter understatement, from Gunna’s braided loc twists, to every layer of clothing he was wearing including the Louis Vuitton sunglasses ($790), Rick Owens Bauhaus leather vest ($1914), Dior black technical cotton jersey ($1350), Louis Vuitton cotton ocean shorts ($700), Rick Owens Elephant Boots with snap closure ($2352) to the blinged out watch and multiple chains swathed around his neck – Rihanna didn’t miss an inch of detail. Jewels aside she also forked out just about $8000 USD to recreate Gunna’s outfit for Halloween.
Young MA Came ‘Straight Outta Compton’
In a toast to the legendary N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) hip-hop group that included Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, DJ Yella and MC Ren, and their breakout studio album and the subsequent movie, Straight Outta Compton, Young MA and her crew went all out to impersonate the pioneering rap stars. The Ooouuu rapper stood out from the rest donning her “Ruthless” cap as Ice Cube though they all wore signature black tracksuits with Adidas kicks.
