American YouTuber and Lil Baby’s baby mother Jayda Cheaves, also known as Jayda Wayda, and Gregory Wright, a member of her entourage, were both charged by police in Jamaica with the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, after two guns and 15 rounds total were found before their departure.

A source in the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) confirmed with DancehallMag that “while preparing to depart the island, two persons were found to have been in possession of two 9mm pistols.”

Jayda, Gregory, and her entourage were trying to leave the island around 1:20PM today when the guns were found.  The group arrived on a private jet last week to celebrate Jayda’s 24th birthday. In one Instagram post to her 6 million followers over the weekend, she toasted “to a safe time in Jamaica.”

“They reportedly brought the firearms into the country on their private jet when coming into Jamaica,” the source said.  “These weapons are licensed to the persons in question in their home countries, but not in Jamaica.”

Cheaves and Wright were offered station bail and are booked to appear in the Western Regional Court on Wednesday.

In an Instagram Story post this evening, Jayda told her followers to “Act Normal” before adding, “I’m good for now yall”

Lil Baby and Cheaves share a son together, Loyal Armani, but they have an on-again, off-again relationship.

In July this year, Lil Baby faced police trouble while in Paris after he was arrested for the possession of marijuana.  He was given a fine, according to AP.
