American rapper T.I. apparently woke up and chose violence on Friday morning when he decided that he needed to get something off his chest. Pity he didn’t know he’d be confronted by the very ballsy Dancehall starlet Ishawna.

The Whatever You Like rapper took to Instagram and wrote, “Ladies I’m going, to be honest, Some of ya’ll eyelashes longer than y’all real hair and it bothers me.”

T.I. followed up in the caption and said, “There I said it 😤 Been holding that in for a while now😈.”

Although there was a slew of responses from several women online including his wife Tiny, a reality TV star and singer formerly of the multi-platinum R&B group Xscape, who replied, “I don’t know who the hell u speaking of!!!”, no one was as high-flown as Ishawna.  She reacted in an Instagram Story post, “So how Tiny face weh fava crush linen nuh bother boy?! (thinking face emoji).”

Many found Ishawna’s post funny, like LuvChyld on YouTube who said, “Crushed linen 😩 I wasn’t ready 💀,” and another who added, “Ishy meh weakkkkk 😂😂😂😂.”

Others felt she was just keeping it real the way T.I was keeping it real.

“Ishawna keeping it real❗TI coming for females who love their eyelashes extensions but not what’s going on in his household 😒 double standards,” said one person.

Someone else chimed in, “These women need to embrace their natural beauty.T.I. did not say anything wrong. Tiny ugly fi true wid har white mumma”.

Many came to the R&B singer’s defense, “Idk y ppl attacking tiny wtf 😒 she in even said nu’n,” said one fan. And, “Ishawna nuh easy enuh 😂 but she need a hit like rn 🥺.”

Another added, “Tiny is brainwash by TI but at the same time who is ishania [Ishawna] to be dissing these people with their big money equal rights and justice how long was that, ti didn’t say anything that’s alots of man is not thinking he is just bold to say it.”

T.I., who also goes by the alias TIP, is widely known to strike up controversy online. Just over a week ago he inserted himself into the issues surrounding DaBaby’s homophobic remarks at the Rolling Loud concert in Miami and the ensuing criticism. The rapper claimed DaBaby is a victim of bullying by the LGBTQ community and defended his actions.

“Everyone up in arms and upset about what DaBaby said. I understand people saying that they feel that it’s insensitive,” T.I. said in an Instagram Live session.

“I think you guys have to understand that onstage, that’s not the place that rappers go to be sensitive and soothe everybody’s feelings. It’s a place to go to have a good time.”

Even after DaBaby’s comments gained national attention, T.I. decided to attach Lil Nas X to the situation.

Also, earlier this month TI said he was ‘locked up’ in Amsterdam for using his cell phone while biking. He chalked up the cause of the arrest to a language barrier issue, calling it a ‘slight miscommunication.’

That entirely aside, Dancehall fans can always depend on Ishawna to speak her mind on public issues worth her time. The Equal Rights singer is no stranger to calling out her industry colleagues and even her controversial ex Foota Hype on social media. But nothing beats her provocative music catalog that subjugates men with tracks like Equal Rights, Restraining Order, Instaboy, and Answer Me to name a few, as well as her risqué stage performances.
