Dancehall titan Spice spent a second straight year clubbing with Missy ‘Misdemeanor’ Elliot and the industry’s finest on the rap queen’s birthday.

In her latest instagram post, the Indicator singer shared scenes of the festivities as the Work It rapper rang at her 50th birthday in Atlanta. Donning a slick black Versace jumpsuit, the blue-haired deejay captioned the carousel post with blue heart emojis, tagging her celebrity friends who showed out for the event.

“Here’s a recap of how I celebrated a legendary birthday party with the GOAT @missymisdemeanorelliott I LOVE YOU SIS @yandysmith @trinarockstarr @monicadenise”, Spice said.

Since she moved to Georgia just a few years ago, Spice’s ever-increasing list of celebrity friends includes the likes of her LHHATL costars rapper/ designer Rasheeda, film producer Yandy Smith, as well as hip hop veterans Trina and Young Joc. Her friendship with Missy Elliot however, goes back beyond her stellar success and is years in the making. In 2011, the two collaborated on a summer bop called Fun, and later that year, Spice performed at her birthday party alongside Trina.

Throughout the decade, they’ve publicly supported each other’s careers, and even lockdown couldn’t keep them from linking up for birthday shenanigans last year.

In 2020, the Cool Off rapper and the Cool It deejay rocked colorful outfits and matching “HBD Missy” masks as they stepped out for some fun-filled antics. “About last night @missymisdemeanorelliott it was a pleasure spending another birthday with you again 🙏🏾 GOAT,” Spice wrote on IG at the time. Missy had given terse confirmation that the two were cooking up new music last year, and it remains to be seen if that track will be among the enviable features on Spice’s debut album TEN, due out on July 30th.

The vibe looked twice as lit at the Gossip Folks emcee’s ‘golden jubilee’ with sparklers, decked out purple decor (Missy’s favourite colour), and some of Missy’s most notable collaborators over the years including multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist, Monica.

Meanwhile UK rapper Stefflon Don was here for the camaraderie between the dancehall and rap queens. “Watch goodie,” she wrote in Spice’s comments to which the Go Down Deh hitmaker responded, “We outside” with many blue heart emojis.
