Italian international footballer Moise Kean has been having a grand ‘Dancehall time’ vacationing in Jamaica, where he has from all indications immersed himself in the culture and met up with at least one of his Dancehall heroes.

The Everton striker, who is on loan to Paris Saint-Germain, met up with Popcaan and posted pics of himself clad in a white Buju Banton t-shirt sitting outdoors beside the Unruly Boss, laughing away in one image, and seemed contemplative in the other.

“Woiyoi @popcaanmusic 🤞🏾🇯🇲,” he captioned the post.

The 21-year-old, who was born in Italy to Ivorian parents, has been having a whale of a time vacationing at a resort on Jamaica’s north coast and posted videos of himself learning the Dirt and dancing up a storm to Ding Dong’s Genna Bounce along with a throng of young men.

He also posted images of himself jumping from a cliff into a river in rural Jamaica and one of himself his friends sitting under a cascade and laughing.

It comes as no surprise that the always-dancing striker would have flown to Jamaica for his vacation, as he has long established himself as a lover of everything Reggae and Dancehall, and during an interview with Everton FC said Bob Marley was his idol and that his favourite song was Waiting in Vain.

He was also filmed on his yacht swooning to Half Pint’s Substitute Lover last November singing along word-for-word.

While playing for Juventus in 2019, the Italian international celebrated a match win on his IG live by dancing and singing along to Ding Dong’s Genna Bounce.

Moise’s post did not escape the attention of Laalee as the “short and tall” artiste shared Moise’s post and gushed over the fact that the dance crafted by Tyreke and the accompanying song voiced by him, had captured international attention.

“Yow is this actually @moise_kean I created a song n @tyreke.dirtt created a dance that’s rocking the world “Tip Inna It Challenge”🌎 #yodeff #laalee #dirt #dirtbounce #laalee #laaleenation,” he wrote on his IG page.

Over on Zip FM’s Instagram page where the video of Moise dancing in the hotel was shared, there was a teasing caption.

“Someone said they can’t believe Italian footballer #MoiseKean has come to Jamaica and learnt “Dirt Bounce” before many of us 😩 and we nah lie we FELT that 😫😩!   His dirt bounce is 💯 not to mention his Genna Bounce!” the station noted.

Kean, who was eligible to represent both Italy and the Ivory Coast, being born in Italy to Ivorian parents, opted to represent Italy, and in  2015, first represented Italy at the under-15 level.

Moving on to the Italian Under-17 squad, he took part in the  2016 and 2017 editions of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he scored a goal in each of the tournaments.

Kean began his career with the legendary Juventus FC in 2016, winning a domestic double in his first season with the club.  He spent the following season on loan with Hellas Verona before returning to his home club which won another Serie A title in 2019   joining English side Everton that summer.

Kean made his debut for the Italian senior team in 2018, and is the youngest goalscorer for Italy in a competitive match.
