With the memories of Alkaline’s fake “eye tattoo” fresh in their minds, Let’s be Honest Podcast hosts Jaii Frais and Chevi weighed in on the Skillibeng-Honey Milan forehead tattoo controversy, days after Gold Gad pointed out that the artwork, which she told the Jamaica Star was “real”, was not.

On Saturday, Gold Gad’s fans had a field day laughing after the Client Convo artiste juxtaposed two separate photos of the Chappa Gyal’s forehead tattoo on his Instagram page, with two red arrows delineating the stark differences between the two tattoo one of which was smaller than the other and positioned at different parts of her forehead.

“Thank me later bye 🏃,” the mischievous Gold Gad captioned the image.

His fans had a slew of funny responses to the highlighting off Honey Milan’s gaffe.

“A remote control tattoo sometimes it move😂😂,” crocodileteeth_joseph wrote, while

Others said it was quite obvious from the start that the ‘tattoo’ was only a drawing done with some form or erasable ink.

“I see 👀 bottom one touches the eyebrows and the top one touch the hairline 😂😂😂😂😂😂 issa marker write dat good ole sharpie marker” liz_zy_90 jeered, while bhaddii_liyah wrote: “That no look real😴Cz look pon e bottom pic Nd u see say e tattoo near to her eyebrow them😂!! And the one up a top look like them rub e out and put e up more😂😂😭”.

“Then in one pic the tattoo near her eye brow now it look like it a travel it soon reach in her head,” an amused nickeyberry34 said.

Still, other followers told Gold Gad that they had not noticed and hailed him for being an observant sleuth.

“U crack the code Gad😂😂#fake#publicitystunt,” iamrhaatid said.

Milan has since removed the photos and videos from her Instagram page, in which she showed herself supposedly getting inked by a tattoo artist, and others of her showing the “end product”.

On Monday, Jaii Frais and Chevi spent their 12-minute podcast attempting to break down the reasons for what they said could only be a publicity stunt, an gave her some advice on how to improve on her lyrics and delivery of her songs.

“Honey Milan, di new hot girl pon di scene.  Shi a try do some desperate tings and wi haffi talk bout it.  Mi sure this was di aim…  Suh shi allegedly tattoo Skillibeng name pon har forehead.  She an Skillibeng have a song name Chappa Gyal – horrible song.  Horrible…What shi needs is Jesus.  That song is horrible,” Jaii Frais said.

“Number one di tattoo fake, caw di tattoo start move already; mi neva si a tattoo move yet from one side to di odda side.  But mi glad shi a do dis.  What shi should  do – an mi nuh feel like dis help har as much – shi shoulda work wid like Skilli and she inna relationship ting, caw dat was doing enough,” he added.

Jaii Frais said publicity stunts, if not reinforced by natural talent like Alkaline did, could see an artist being relegated to a “nine-day wonder”.

“And then I don’t know if you have di talent to back this sh-t up.  Shock value is a thing, but with shock value you haffi bring di talent wid it fi meck it last.  You wi get yuh 15 minutes; everybaddy a guh get dem 15 minutes – an yuh look good,” he said.

“Di song weh yuh do Chappa Gyal, is definitely trash, but, is like: get some writers, get a good team backa yuh; it is possible,” he continued,

He also expressed another grave concern, which was Skillibeng’s seeming indifference to whatever Milan was doing to get attention, another reason she might be barking up the wrong tree.

“On pon top a it Skilli not even a give it di energy,” he said.

For his part, Chevi recommended that Milan, “just get some more writers and put some more body pan har voice”.

“Mi feel like shi now weh shi a do fi get di brand out dere, but how long?” he said.

He too contended that the tattoo was not permanent.

“Yuh see if it was some small sh-t, I would believe dat sht.  But big bomobo claat Skillibend cross har face?” he said in registering his disbelief.
