Amid criticism of her recent weight loss, Dancehall artist Jada Kingdom says she’s been living with bipolar depression.

In an Instagram post this morning, the singer lashed out at the critics of her thinner appearance in photos of a night out in Atlanta, which she had shared on Sunday, May 2.  Despite admitting in the caption attached to the photos that she was under the influence of alcohol, many fans in the comments expressed alarm and concern at Kingdom’s dramatic weight loss and distorted eyes.

The singer responded by posting another series of older “before” photos.  In the caption, she lashed out and wrote, “Note to hypocrites: F–K YU!🖕🏽, Guh look fi ah dog and s–k it HARD.”

“If losing all that weight means I’m sniffing coke then call me coke head Twinkle caz I LOVE IT HERE! 💃🏽☺️ neva been this happy.  #2yearsoffighting I worked hard for this…”

“Living with bipolar depression opened my eyes to so much and i jus wanna say… Fuk yu! agen & agen,tf unu feel like😂🖕🏽 #Cokeheadtwinkle,” Kingdom continued in the now-deleted post.

Jada then took to her Instagram Stories to debunk the rumors that she has been abusing drugs. “Hypocrites, hypocrites, hypocrites, get out of my DMs,” said Kingdom as she began to respond to allegations of cocaine abuse.

“Me literally just see two females dm me saying basically, ‘don’t mind social media and don’t follow weh people a seh’; and dem two same page deh me literally screenshot over another page a done me. Bout ‘yeah mon she de pon coke fi true, look how she slim down and suck out like bag juice and mad out,” added Kingdom.

Kingdom told the naysayers to F-off, noting that she did not want any hypocrites as friends, family or fans.

According to Kingdom, prior to losing the weight she was plagued by criticisms of being too fat, and was also not comfortable with her body weight and decided that she needed to begin a weight loss programme.

Kingdom shared that with a combination of dietary changes, including becoming a pescatarian, and exercise she was able to shed the pounds.

“Call me coke head twinks cause I love it here, me love ova yah so, me never happy so yet, a right yah so me a sit down and me nah move. Me use to hear seh me have elephantiasis, how me look like Humpty Dumpty, me look like Rollie Pollie, me look like Barney, the mount of thing me use to hear and a neva lie,” she said.

“So what me do? Me work pon it because me never comfortable with myself neither, me work pon it, a nuh just today or yesterday; me woulda understand if mi draw dung in space of one month but a good two years now me a go gym in and out. Mi a try eat right, me switch to being pescatarian, mi leggo rice, mi a work out.”

Jada Kingdom is best known for songs like WiNHeavy!, Budum, and Love Situations. She’s currently facing a lawsuit that was filed in the Supreme Court of Jamaica by her former management company, Pop Style Music. Pop Style has accused the singer of spewing “libellous bile and defamatory untruths” against the company’s CEO in an Instagram Live video early last month.
