A prominent member of the Trinibad genre, Medz Boss has been discharged from hospital after he sustained an injury to his back while on a boat.

Not much has been disclosed about how the incident occurred on April 11, though a video did appear of the artist being transported on a hospital stretcher.

Yesterday, April 12 his manager Giselle Gellineau-Penrose, confirmed that he had been discharged and was resting at home.  He was first taken to the St James Medical Complex before being transferred to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital for further treatment.

On Instagram, Gellineau-Penrose thanked fans for their support: “Thank you for all the inquires of concern. Medz has been discharged to begin his recuperation at home.
