Spragga Benz, Tony Matterhorn Say They’re Working On New Movie ‘Second Chance’
It appears that Dancehall star Spragga Benz and veteran selector Tony Matterhorn are in the midst of working on a movie.
This one is called Second Chance and while not much has been revealed about the plot, the character Spragga will play is called David. In an Instagram post on April 10, he shared some highlighted sections of a script on his Instagram page which revealed his character’s name. āāSecond Chanceā… Movie in the making,ā he captioned the post.
Other posts followed that showed the Dancehall artist on set during filming.
Matterhorn posted a video clip, which he captioned, “Pure jokes on set for the new movie #secondchance ššššš„š½š¬š¬š¬š¬ @spraggabenz3Ā tonymatterhorn4 @supatwitch brothers from way back when”
Some of Spragga’s colleagues like Wayne Wonder were quick to congratulate him. āUp move fam,ā to which Spragga replied: āonly way we move mi bredda no backward nuh sideways.ā
One fan said, āBlessings king wishing u that its a success shottas was out of here so I know this one will be more better,ā while many other fans seemed to think he was alluding to the production of Shottas 2. He later explained it was for the new movie, however.
Last month, Spragga announced that he was working on a Top Shottas TV series with Ky-Mani Marley.
Spragga previously said that there is a script for Shottas 2 that had been put on the back burner as efforts were being more focused on an upcoming series. āThere is a script for Shottas 2 but for now, it is the television series which is on the front burner. People were requesting a follow-up for Shottas but the legal rights for the original movie is being contested in courts,ā he said.
