Two years ago, Quick Cook scored a minor radio hit with Pressures of Life, on the Dilemma Riddim where he appealed for an end to gang violence. The song was released in May 2018 on the Keno 4Star Productions

In 2012, Quick Cook gained international attention when a flopped dance routine at an event was featured on MTV’s comedy show Ridiculousness. The artist, dancing with a female Japanese patron onstage during a local show, lost his balance and fell off the stage. The video quickly gained attention on social media before being included on ‘Ridiculousness’.

Since that time, he also gained attention for doing the intro on Popcaan‘s popular Party Shot song and a single called One Drop released in 2015 also did well.
