Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta star Spice wants her fans to know that she has never done any underhanded act or ritual to bring harm to the careers of other female Dancehall artistes.

The deejay took to Instagram Live today to clear her name of any wrongdoing, following claims made by spiritual advisor Nardo ‘RT Boss’ Smith that they ran Lady Saw (now Minister Marion Hall) out of Dancehall.

Hall responded to those claims yesterday in an Instagram Live video.

According to Spice, it was Smith who would try to convince her that female artistes were practicing obeah on her.

“Obeah a weh mi nuh mix up inna,” she started. “Yuh come, yuh claim seh di woman (Lady Saw) a obeah mi, fi wah? Lady Saw, Macka Diamond, Pamputtae, Tifa, mi nah mention Shenseea because she just come after…but mi call di four name dem because mi see some whole heap a mix up on who a obeah who and unno a seh mi nah help Pamputtae and mi nuh do this for Pamputtae.

“Yuh know when Macka Diamond hot and a run di place mi nav nuh song? Unno know nuh care how much unno drag Macka Diamond, one a di time a she a run di place hot-hot, hits after hits and song? Grace never have none. When Pamputtae seh, ‘pat yuh pu**y and call yuh man name…mi never have no song, mi deh home and hungry, mi couldn’t even feed mi pickney dem. A money mi did haffi borrow fi feed mi pickney dem.”

She continued, “Yuh see Tifa, when Tifa find di hit song dem one backa one, Spice never have nuh song… So why when Spice hot now, everybody and dem muma and dem granny and old house waan fi tumble dung pon me?”

In a series of Instagram Live videos last night, Macka Diamond spoke about her beef with Spice, and questioned what the deejay has done to stifle her career. Her reasoning was inspired by Smith’s claims that no female has been able to rise above Spice because of the services he did for her. The ladies were scheduled to square-off at Sting in 2012, but Macka Diamond exited the venue when Spice failed to appear. Spice eventually showed, making an entrance on a donkey, won the cash prize and was declared the winner.

On Twitter today, Spice called on Diamond to be wise.   “Macka that man never obeah you, it’s another Lie to make me look bad. You got your biggest hit songs AFTER WE WENT TO STING SO BE WISE,” she wrote.

Spice said she only got her big break in 2014 with So Mi Like It, and added that she doesn’t understand why she isn’t being allowed to enjoy her time at the top.

“I get my fair run inna dancehall six years ago and I’ve been in the business for 20 years…” she said. “Mi just get likkle hype and unno waan kill mi fi it… Everybody get dem turn… See Shenseea come now and unno waan mi hate di girl fi it, mi nah dweet… Everybody haffi eat.”

Murmur that she has done little to help her friend Pamputtae excel in the business has existed for years. To this Spice said, “Unno nuh know if me and har a plan behind-the-scenes…unno just a talk and a talk…”

She grew emotional as she spoke about the sacrifices she has made to be where she is, none of which she credited to Smith despite his claims that he “built” her.

“God know how mi reach yah so, so a God alone can tek mi off it…” she said, teary-eyed. “God know weh mi go through; a me and mi two pickney dem alone, a me alone, so mi nuh waan nobody come feel like seh dem can tear me down. Unno cya tear mi dung because mi suffer and struggle, bare hungry, weh unno did deh?”

She said the current fracas is evidence that she is envied, adding, “Yuh see dah talent yah weh mi have, greatest gift, but I’m telling you, people, dem will kill mi fi it.”

She assured her fans that she will not be swayed by efforts to tarnish her brand, and told them to do the same.

“Don’t watch di haters dem, don’t watch the work of the Devil, nuh watch di inequity…” she said. “Nuh DM mi and ask mi if mi good, I will always be okay. Mi is a beast, is a lion, nutten cya tear mi, nutten cya faze mi because a God know weh mi do fi reach right yah so.”
