Sanka And Nickiesha Light Up Social Media With ‘Best Wi Eva Feel’

BEST-1

Dancehall singjay Sanka has carved out a reputation for his intense lyrics and intoxicating delivery which makes him a versatile artist, whose music can travel well beyond the island’s white sand shores. Sanka delivers hard bars and hard beats.

“From a tender age, I have loved music, from ever since mi know myself, it’s all I ever wanted to do, I have family members in music and they also inspired me to do this,” the artiste whose real name is Javahne Pusey, said.

Hailing from the war-torn Papine-Kintyre area of the Corporate Area, Sanka has a finely tuned knack for weaving together vivid street tales in a way that’s honest, addictive, and entertaining. He is currently pushing his collaborative single, ‘Best Wi Eva Feel’ featuring Nickiesha on the Boyzie Records/IClips Records imprint which was released on Friday, November the 13th which coincidentally is also Nickiesha’s birthday.

“Me and Nickiesha sit down and meds the song together. Mi just love her vibes from I met her when she was in video with me when she was a dancer on the set of my second video, ‘Bad Position’. But when she unleash herself as an artiste, we just work with the inspiration and do this song,” Sanka said.

A video for the project was also released on Friday the 13th.

“The streets say the song buzzing and can’t wait to see the video drop this weekend…ah fire, straight fire,” Sanka said confidently.

Sanka and Nickiesha, who are label mates on a partnership between IClips and Boysie Records, have had no chance to perform the song because of the entertainment restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’ve perform it live for the fans on IG and Facebook for the fans, and honestly, mi feel like this ah go be my biggest hit so far, ” he said.

Sanka grew up in Tavern in Papine/Kintyre area where he attended Papine High school. When he started doing music, he kept his nickname, ‘Sanka; which was given to him as a nickname by people in his community.

“Back in the days, dem call Mountain Peak coffee ‘sanka’, and that’s how I come up with my slang, Steam. We always hot in the streets,” he said.

His first official song was ‘Charge Up the Bird’ for Boysie Records which was released earlier this year and racked up over 40,000 views.

Via his partnership with independent record label, I Clips Records and Boysie Records, Sanka now has a platform with which to make his mark on the industry.

“With my music ability and with IClips and Boysie Records, mi gone beyond sky, just going to put on hard work. Any artiste want buss, find demself at Boysie Records, and IClips,” he said.
