Slim Knight: At first I started doing music for fun when I was in 11th grade in high school basically just to see if I could write songs for a clash… I didn’t take music serious until my father passed away in 2010 due to a tragic shooting. At that time, I was overseas studying in college. I recorded my first official song that same year under the name “Bad Indian”, the track was titled ‘Watch My Head’

Officially about fifteen (15) songs.

What are your plans for the future?

Having a record label that either sign artists or develops their craft, shaping them to be knowledgeable independent artist or to be signed by larger labels by providing them with the information and tools necessary. Build a Studio that does recording, producing, engineering, videography, photography anything else media related. Also, I’m working on becoming a monumental artist in the music industry not just dancehall or reggae but across the board as an international artiste as well

Name one local and one international Artiste you would collaborate with and why ?

Local artist: Vybz Kartel

Because he’s as lyrical as it gets which makes him versatile…International artiste – Burna Boy

Because despite the fact that he is a Nigerian born artiste he has always been doing a stupendous job promoting Reggae/Dancehall music and culture on his platform

Tell us something no one knows about you

I’m actually a good cook despite how slim I am

If you could bring back one Jamaican Artiste that has passed, who would it be and why?

Tenor saw   Because this great man died too young! He was only 24yrs old he would have done a lot more great classics
